Tournament Overview
The 2026 Australian Women’s Classic marks the eighth staging of the championship and the third tournament of the Ladies European Tour season. A $600,000 AUD prize purse headlines a week that features 132 players from 35 countries, including 25 Ladies European Tour winners, 13 Olympians, 12 tour rookies and one previous champion of the Australian Women’s Classic. With defending champion Manon De Roey not in the field, the title is wide open, setting up what promises to be a compelling four-day contest on the NSW Central Coast.
Magenta Shores Golf & Country Club, a links course designed by Ross Watson and set between the Pacific Ocean, Tuggerah Lake and the Wyrrabalong National Park, hosts the championship for the first time. Located 90 minutes north of Sydney, the course is rated by Golf Australia and Golf Digest as one of Australia’s best and offers a pristine links experience in an unspoilt setting. Spectator entry is free across all four days.
