Just 10 players are in red figures for the tournament where Spain’s Nuria Itorrius played a superb morning round to sign for a 67 and 8-under par 36 hole total.

Swedens Madelene Sagstrom is the best of the afternoon contenders at 1-under through six holes and 5-under for the tournament, three shots behind Itorrius.

Overnight leader Doey Choi notched two bogeys in her opening three holes to fall to 4-under and outright third while Western Australians Whitney Hillier and Hannah Green are both even par for the and at 3-under share fourth place.

The afternoon players had the best of the conditions on day one of the Pacific Bay Resort Australian Ladies Classic but the weather gods squared the ledger on day two.

Those out early were once again subjected to intermittent showers and cooler temperatures though with little wind to speak of the drizzle is more annoyance than difficulty.

Scores reflected the conditions with just seven players in the early groups in red figures, the best of those at 2-under through nine holes.

9.00am: Ravnjak Rallies Early On Day Two

Wollongong golfer Tahnia Ravnjak is leading the way early on day two of the Pacific Bay Resort Australian Ladies Classic – Bonville.

The second year touring professional moved into the top 10 with birdies at the second and seventh holes on an otherwise clean card, her 1-under total through 11 holes good for a share of ninth place.
Ravnjak won the Qualifying School for last year’s China Tour and will be pleased with her play so far this week after missing the cut at this event in 2018.
