UPDATE: play will resume at 5.45pm after an almost four-hour delay. Officials decided to complete the tournament tonight after persistent lightning and thunder strikes forced the course to be cleared just before 2.00pm.

Earlier, play was suspended midway through the final round of the Australian Ladies Classic when lightning and heavy rain hit the Coffs Harbour region.
A severe weather system that was bombarding southeast Queensland and parts of NSW forced the abandonment of play, around 1.45pm AEDST.
Players were taken off the course and a decision was made on the progress of the final round once the weather conditions improved.
